  • Skill development
  • Community connections
  • Physical, mental, emotional health
  • Your legacy
  • Educational opportunities
  • Nurturing relationships
  • Healthy lifestyle

The power of the program arises from the intentional community we will build through large and small-group discussions, silent reflection, journaling, and other creative ways to engage. We will share a beautiful retreat designed to be a space of beauty, contemplation and rejuvenation  while we plan a third chapter that builds on the wisdom gained in your early years, but reaches for more than simply slowing down in retirement.

The NEXT retreat was an incredible experience; a gift of time away from my day-to-day responsibilities to think and plan in the midst of a supportive community of women.  Linda and Karen are talented, caring facilitators who led the group in a way that allowed each of us to get what we needed most out of the experience. I am grateful for the insight, the clarity, and the encouragement this experience gave me for my next chapter.

Alison Bruster

I signed up for NEXT chapter on a whim  . As the weekend neared, I began to wonder why I had committed my time and money.  Would it be worth it?  Did I really need to think about the next chapter of my life?  The answer was YES… but not in the ways I may have thought.  Karen and Linda’s leadership… warm, accepting, encouraging and yet challenging … made the weekend unique.  I have been to many weekend workshops but none as spiritual, calming, safe and rewarding as NEXT.  There have been subtle shifts in my life since attending…. I feel more empowered, more “me, more committed to carving time for my needs. A plus was meeting creative women whose stories inspired me to continue to grow.

“If you’re interested in being supported by talented personal development leaders in how to think about and create an action plan for your next chapter, then participate in this retreat.”

Dean Thompson

“The facilitators were so sensitive to group needs and to creating an environment of trust and respect. The questions and suggestions that they had created were meaningful and deep. I loved having the quiet time to think and discern how they applied to me… I felt comfortable, valued and respected.”

Laura Neece-Baltaro

“It’s an incredibly valuable experience which I could apply to both my personal and professional life.”

 Sarah Campbell

"This retreat was life changing for me. I walked away with a clear vision for myself and who I want to be in the next ten years. I’m excited about my third chapter and where it will lead. Karen Geiger and Linda Christopherson were phenomenal! I highly recommend NEXT: Designing Your Third Chapter! "
