 This past weekend I went to NEXT… It is a retreat for women over the age of 50. This was an experience that I will
never forget… it helped me explore, release, and create the next chapter of my life. Above all I found clarity of purpose and a love for myself that had gotten lost along life’s journey. 

I was with 11 beautiful women that will now will be a part of my tribe/life forever.  I want to thank Karen Geiger and Linda Christopherson for their incredible insights as they guided us through this sacred process.

NEXT was an amazing retreat of self-discovery, growth  and heartfelt connections. The facilitators are highly skilled at helping participants deeply explore their journeys into their third chapters while creating  an atmosphere of intentionality and sharing of wisdom among participants. This was a much-needed and immensely beneficial experience that has enriched me. I returned home this afternoons with a lighter heart overflowing with gratitude and joy. Too often women of a certain age find themselves at a point - or points - where certain aspects of life have passed, professionally and personally. The question of "What next?" nags and weighs heavy. I am that woman. Karen Geiger and Linda Christopherson are masterful in prompting, directing and engaging both individual and group growth through introspection and exchange of uncertainties, fears, experiences, insights and support. I had many "Ah-ha's!" over the weekend. Our discussions will serve as food for thought and action for quite some time as I design my 3rd Chapter. Thank you, Karen & Linda, for your compassion, expertise and leadership in this area through these workshops. And, thanks to each of the members of my new Heartstring Sisters Tribe for sharing so much of yourselves and your journey and in support of me on mine.

 The NEXT retreat was an incredible experience; a gift of time away from my day-to-day responsibilities to think and plan in the midst of a supportive community of women.  Linda and Karen are talented, caring facilitators who led the group in a way that allowed each of us to get what we needed most out of the experience. I signed up for NEXT chapter on a whim  . As the weekend neared, I began to wonder why I had committed my time and money.  Would it be worth it?  Did I really need to think about the next chapter of my life?  The answer was YES… but not in the ways I may have thought.  Karen and Linda’s leadership… warm, accepting, encouraging and yet challenging … made the weekend unique.  I have been to many weekend workshops but none as spiritual, calming, safe and rewarding as NEXT.  There have been subtle shifts in my life since attending…. I feel more empowered, more “me, more committed to carving time for my needs. A plus was meeting creative women whose stories inspired me to continue to grow.
